Our Miss Taranaki

WITT can lay claim to a second Miss Taranaki pageant winner in a row.

Nineteen-year-old Jenna Bellve studied beauty therapy at WITT in 2015 and now works as a make-up artist and part-time as a beauty consultant for Shiseido at Farmers.

She was crowned the 2017 Miss Taranaki at the Plymouth Hotel at the end of January.

And handing over the crown was Valentine Fernandes, another WITT student who is studying for a Bachelor Degree of Nursing.

Bellve, who hails from Opunake, raised more than $750 during the build-up to the Sunday pageant for Gabby's Starlit Hope Charity, which organises random acts of kindness for children and families dealing with cancer.
